Day Room Work Party

We received a grant from the Home Depot Foundation and with it bought vinyl plank flooring and other materials to finish the construction of our transitional housing unit and what we are calling Day Room (credit Alex @ Vato's Garage).

We could use volunteers to help out or if you want to stop by and learn more about Connect Vets and the impact we are having in out community please come on by. Kick off is around 1000 and we'll work until the job is done.

We have a Veteran in need of a living space who doesn't have a place to stay or a job currently so this is more than just a 'come help us do something', this is providing a safe warm place to live for someone who has given so much to our community already.
